The eLearning programs developed through HSeT adapt content and learning activities to different training needs and goals. Academic institutions and organizations may propose to their members a portal, i.e. a website, providing access to content that meets the learning objectives of their specific audience. The intended targeted audience is: continuous education of health professionals, students in biological science at the MAS and MSc level.
Why customized Websites?
Multiple online teaching sessions can be designed for different audiences identified by an organization.
-
Learners build skills that draw from a variety of resources. Trainers can create curricula using content from different eLearning programs.
For example, a training program for laboratory staff not only uses Laboratory Online, but is also supplemented with useful information from Immunology Online and OCTAVE.
Learning tools can be used to track user's progress and to assess knowledge. Learners can therefore be well-prepared for face-to-face workshops where they have an opportunity to practice specific tasks (e.g. analyze a scientific paper, perform a laboratory assay).
